About This Opportunity

The Claddagh Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students from China who have received a course offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin. The scholarships are designed to support outstanding Chinese students pursuing undergraduate education at one of Ireland's leading universities. Scholarships range in value between €2,000 and €5,000 and are applied as a reduction to the year one tuition fees of a full-time undergraduate programme. Applications are assessed and awarded on a rolling basis, with selection based on academic achievement and applicants' potential to contribute to the Trinity community. The programme considers regional and programme diversity in its allocations. Applicants must be Chinese nationals ordinarily resident in China with non-EU fee status. Note that medicine, dentistry, acting, engineering, natural sciences, and computer science and statistics courses are exempt from this scholarship programme, though similar scholarships may be available at School level.
