China Open Day and Offer Day Scholarship

The University of Birmingham delegation of academics and admissions are coming to China to meet with prospective students and offer holders in this academic year. They hosted an Offer Day Event in Beijing on 15 November, and are planning a series of China Open Day events in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou towards the end of March 2026. The University is pleased to announce a number of £1,000 dedicated scholarships for Postgraduate Taught and Undergraduate applicants/offer holders attending these events who have good engagement with academics or have outstanding performance at the spot-offer interviews. To be eligible, candidates must sign up and attend the in-country events in mainland China and check in on the day as instructed. The scholarship is awarded towards tuition fees for the first year only of a full-time Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught degree programme at the University of Birmingham UK campus, starting September 2026. By accepting the award, scholars agree to support the University by helping with future student visits, being available for testimonials/photos/videos for marketing purposes and engaging in other activities such as blogging if required.
