Chinese Community Scholarship

The Chinese Community Scholarship is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the second or subsequent years of an undergraduate degree in East Asian Studies at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated excellence in Chinese coursework. Preference is given to students with indicated financial need. This scholarship was established through endowed funds raised from the Melody of Spring concert hosted by the Chinese community in 1998. Students in receipt of awards totaling $2000 or more are not eligible for this scholarship.
