CHIPS JU IA 2026 – Market-Oriented Call on AI for Software-Defined Vehicles

This funding opportunity aims to significantly improve the efficiency of engineering software-defined vehicles through AI-assisted methods and tools for automating software and system development. Projects should address the growing complexity of electronic and cyber-physical systems and support engineers across design, development, verification, validation and certification, particularly in safety-critical and regulated domains. The call targets Danish universities, companies, industry organisations, RTOs and research organisations participating in international collaborative projects. Innovation Fund Denmark offers co-funding to Danish participants in projects successful in this call, with the goal of strengthening Europe's competitiveness in digital vehicle technologies and accelerating the adoption of AI-powered engineering solutions across sectors.
