The stipend scholarship provides an annual stipend equivalent to the minimum Research Training Program (RTP) rate, while the supplementary scholarship provides an additional $10,000 per year. Research areas supported include plant breeding and production, carbon, water, soil, food quality and safety, livestock, dairying, field robotics, agricultural data analytics, agricultural/resource economics and development agriculture.
