Christine Kruger Memorial Award in Cancer Research

The Christine Kruger Memorial Award in Cancer Research is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Faculty of Nursing, or Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing, indicated financial need, and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism, and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. Preference is given to students with demonstrated focus on cancer research. This endowed award was established by Calvin Kruger to support undergraduate students pursuing studies related to cancer research across health sciences and scientific disciplines.
