To be eligible, applicants must have received at least part of their secondary education in Tauranga or the Western Bay of Plenty district and/or currently reside in Tauranga or the Western Bay of Plenty District. The application process requires details of the qualification or course, a brief portfolio of creative work (in video format), a succinct statement outlining experience, ability, reasons for applying, and the impact the award could have on the applicant and local community, and two testimonials from relevant referees.
