About This Opportunity

The Churchill Fellowship has been developed by The Winston Churchill Trust to support Australians to travel overseas to experience new opportunities, to make contacts with the best in their fields, and to bring the experience back to benefit Australia and your community. The Churchill Trust was established in 1965 to honour the memory of Sir Winston Churchill by awarding overseas research Fellowships known as 'Churchill Fellowships'. Churchill Fellowships allow you to design your own research project on any topic or issue you are passionate about, travel the world and further your knowledge in your chosen field, before returning to make a real contribution to Australian society. The Fellowship provides a fully funded trip covering all travel, accommodation, meals and any other fees approved in your application. The average value is $35,000 AUD, though this varies based on the number of countries visited, the duration, and estimated airfare.
