About this opportunity

The Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan (CIC) has a partnership funding agreement with Lakeland College to support the CIC Indigenous Bursary. The goal is to provide financial aid to Indigenous students who have demonstrated involvement in leadership, management and community service activities. Applicants must be of self-declared Indigenous ancestry (including Status First Nation, Non-Status First-Nation, Métis, or Inuit) and have been a resident of Saskatchewan during the past 12 months. Preference is given to students entering or continuing full-time studies in one of the designated Business, Environmental Sciences, or Trades & Technology programs at Lakeland College, with a minimum entrance high school average of 65% or a college Grade Point Average (GPA) of 65% (C/2.0 average). Students may be registered on or off-campus in any undergraduate program and may have completed courses at Lakeland College or another post-secondary institution. Payment is given in two installments: in the fall and the winter. To receive the 2nd payment students must achieve a GPA of 65% or better on the fall term and continue to be enrolled full-time in the winter term.
