Cindy Ditner Award in Public Accounting

An award, valued at approximately $1,500, will be awarded annually to a full-time graduate student registered in the Master's of Accounting (MAcc) program in the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo. To be considered, students must complete an application form including a statement demonstrating an interest in pursuing a career in public accounting (specifically in the area of assurance and/or accounting) and demonstrate their involvement in extracurricular activities. Strong preference will be given to a student interested in pursuing a career in public practice in the area of assurance and/or accounting and who is registered in the MAcc equivalents of the CPA Professional Education Program Assurance and Tax Electives. Preference will also be given to applicants who can demonstrate extracurricular involvement such as volunteer activities and/or sports. Recipients are selected annually in March by the School of Accounting and Finance.
