Cindy Forbes Entrance Scholarship in Mathematics

One scholarship, valued at up to $1,500, is awarded annually to an outstanding international student from Asia entering first year of Mathematics with a declared interest in Actuarial Science or a Mathematics/Business program, who has an admission average of 90% or greater. This scholarship is made possible through an endowment established by Cindy Forbes, BMath '79 (Actuarial Science). The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and is awarded based on academic performance, the Admission Information Form (AIF), and contest results as administered through the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC). No separate application is required as eligible students are automatically considered during the admissions process.
