About this opportunity
This funding opportunity aims to promote the transition to a circular economy in Upper Norrland (Norrbotten and Västerbotten counties). The program supports projects and feasibility studies that drive structural changes in business and society by promoting circularity. Projects should go beyond small-scale initiatives to create systemic changes where resources are reused, material flows are optimized, and new business models and technologies are developed to reduce environmental impact and create economic value. The initiative encourages collaborative projects that build bridges between different sectors and industries, where innovative solutions can be scaled up and implemented broadly. Examples of eligible activities include development of circular business models, material recycling and resource optimization in industrial processes, innovation in waste management systems, and initiatives to strengthen networks and collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises.
