About this opportunity
This EU-funded grant program supports projects and feasibility studies that contribute to the transition to a circular economy in the regions of Jämtland Härjedalen and Västernorrland in central northern Sweden. The program aims to reduce resource extraction and increase reuse while decreasing raw material consumption. Funding can be used for procurement of circular goods and services, product design for longer lifespans, repair and maintenance, digital sharing services, physical investments in recycling processes, and industrial symbiosis. The program targets small and medium-sized enterprises, public sector organizations, civil society, and academia to help them become part of the circular economy through competence development, new working methods, and business model innovation. Priority areas include sustainable public procurement, reducing economic risk for transitioning businesses, sector-specific needs, material flows (building materials, plastics, biogas, water), and commercial collaboration between multiple entities.
