About This Opportunity

The CitiPower Future Women in Electrical Engineering Scholarship is designed to support women students transitioning into electrical or electronic engineering programs at RMIT University. This scholarship provides financial support of $5,000 per year for up to three years, contingent on academic performance. In addition to financial assistance, recipients benefit from a 12-week paid work experience placement and/or a paid or unpaid Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity during their penultimate year at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy. The program also includes participation in a mentoring program with industry professionals. The scholarship aims to encourage more female electrical engineers to enter the evolving power industry and values gender diversity in engineering.
