About This Opportunity

The CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy Future Women in Electrical Engineering Scholarship supports women studying electrical engineering at RMIT University. The scholarship provides $5,000 per year for up to three years, dependent upon academic performance. Recipients also receive a 12-week paid work experience placement and/or a paid or unpaid Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity in their penultimate year, along with participation in a mentoring program at CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy. The scholarship is designed to encourage more female electrical engineers to enter the ever-changing power industry and support students throughout their undergraduate studies. Applicants must identify as a woman, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and be enrolled full-time in specific electrical or electronic engineering programs at RMIT.
