City Colleges Star Scholarship

The City Colleges Star Scholarship is a renewable award for transfer students from the City Colleges of Chicago who are participating in the Panther Pledge program at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship provides $1,000 per year and is designed to support students transitioning from Chicago's community colleges to EIU. Recipients must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at City Colleges of Chicago and participate in the Panther Pledge program. The award is renewable for up to two years, with a total anticipated award of $2,000, provided the student maintains a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Awards are entered as Access to Education on recipients' award letters.
