About this opportunity

The City of Calgary Post-Secondary Scholarship is a need-based award for graduating high school students from the Calgary Board of Education. This scholarship supports students pursuing post-secondary diplomas or certificates at eligible Calgary institutions. The scholarship is designed to assist students who have completed all of their high school education within Calgary Board of Education schools and whose parents/guardians resided in Calgary during those years. Selection is based on both financial need and academic performance. Recipients must use the award within twelve months of high school graduation to enroll in an eligible program of at least two years duration towards a diploma or certificate, but not a bachelor's degree. Eligible institutions include SAIT and Mount Royal University non-baccalaureate programs. Applicants must not hold other scholarships exceeding $1,700 (excluding the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship).
