City of Moreton Bay Study Support Bursaries

The City of Moreton Bay Study Support Bursaries are provided by the City of Moreton Bay to improve the region's tertiary participation rate by creating education opportunities for local residents. The bursaries provide assistance to students with demonstrated financial need and the academic potential to achieve their education and career goals. These bursaries are available to students from the Moreton Region undertaking an undergraduate degree at UniSC Moreton Bay or UniSC Caboolture. Up to sixteen (16) bursaries are offered annually, valued at $2,000 each. Student recipients receive payment in regular fortnightly instalments over the study period the bursary is awarded. The selection process considers financial need, hours worked or other commitments impacting study time, academic merit, and preference is given to award at least one bursary to an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicant each year. These bursaries are offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by the City of Moreton Bay as an external donor.
