Civil Engineering Dixon Scholarship

The Civil Engineering Dixon Scholarship supports doctoral research in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London. The scholarship is available to both Home and Overseas students pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering or related fields. For Home students, the award covers full tuition fees for 3 years. For Overseas students, it provides a contribution towards tuition fees. Four awards are available for the 2024/2025 academic year. Students are expected to have obtained (or be heading for) a First Class degree at both undergraduate and Master's level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, another branch of engineering or a related science. Applicants must first identify and contact potential PhD supervisors from the Civil and Environmental Engineering department staff to discuss research topics and funding options. The scholarship application must be supported by an academic supervisor, and applicants should only submit their PhD application through the Registry online admissions system after a potential supervisor has expressed sufficient interest.
