The Clare Drake Golden Bears Hockey Alumni Award is awarded annually to students at the University of Alberta who are members of the Golden Bears hockey team. The award is available to students entering from high school with at least 70% academic standing, or to undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 2.0, or graduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (based on at least 18 units of course weight from the previous academic year). Recipients are selected based on excellence in hockey and academic standing, and must fulfill all team requirements as determined by the head coach. The award is funded through an endowment by the Golden Bears Hockey Alumni Association.
