About this opportunity
The Clare Galambos-Winter Scholarships were established to support students in the New Zealand School of Music who demonstrate exceptional talent in violin performance. The purpose of these scholarships is to foster the performance careers of exceptionally talented musicians who have demonstrated a strong and clear commitment to a career in violin (or cello) performance. This scholarship will be awarded to the most talented student in violin performance (second choice, cello performance) enrolling for an Honours degree/PG Dip in Music at the New Zealand School of Music. Applicants may be graduates of the New Zealand School of Music or music graduates of another New Zealand university. Recipients are expected to demonstrate engagement and contribute to the community and environment of the New Zealand School of Music through participation in ensembles, presentations, or performances at NZSM or university events.
