Claremont Trust Grant

The Claremont Trust provides small grants to charitable organizations, with a preference for those working in Scotland or UK-based charities working overseas. Grants are typically in the region of £500 to £600 and never exceed £1,000. The Trust considers applications once per year at their annual meeting held in May. Organizations must first contact the secretary to request an application form, which should be completed and returned by the last working day of April for screening. Applications meeting initial criteria are then considered by the Trustees. The Trust does not provide funding to individuals for study, work purposes or travel, nor to large organisations, nor for building work. Only applications from UK-based organizations or charitable bodies are accepted.
