About this opportunity
The Clarence Addison Turrill Scholarship assists outstanding students to undertake studies in classical piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This scholarship supports students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds who are enrolled or have an unconditional offer to study a full-time coursework or research degree. The scholarship was established from the estate of Clarence Addison Turrill. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to successful recipients. For coursework students, payments are made in two equal instalments after census dates each semester, while postgraduate research students receive a fortnightly stipend. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance and meet ongoing eligibility requirements throughout the scholarship tenure.
