About this opportunity
The Clarence and Della Murray Scholarship was established at the Community Foundation of North Central Washington in memory of Clarence Murray, an accountant for 42 years, who died in 1997. His wife, Mrs. Della Murray, started this scholarship to honor his legacy. Mrs. Murray died in 2007 at age 94. The scholarship supports graduating seniors from Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan counties who demonstrate financial need, scholastic ability, and strong moral character. This competitive scholarship is paid over two years and requires students to reapply and demonstrate successful academic progress after the first year to continue receiving funding for the second year.
