About this opportunity
The Clark Dietz Engineering Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students in the College of Engineering & Applied Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who are pursuing engineering degrees. The scholarship recognizes academic merit and financial need, with a preference for civil and environmental engineering majors. Applicants must be at the junior or senior level with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA preferred but not required. Additional preference is given to students who contribute to the intellectual and cultural enrichment of the program through their life experiences, including overcoming personal adversity, family hardship, extensive community service, or successful careers in other fields. Priority is also given to students demonstrating significant barriers to achieving higher education, such as experience in the foster care system, living in single-parent households, having incarcerated parents, or responsibilities for providing financial support or primary care for household members.
