About this opportunity
The Clarke Gould Occupational Health and Safety Memorial Award honors Clarke Gould, a dedicated health and safety professional who worked for 30 years in all facets of safety, particularly with electrical contractors. Clarke was a valued member of the Alberta Construction Safety Association Edmonton Regional Safety Committee for approximately 20 years, where he led initiatives including NAOSH Week and the Provincial Skills Competition.
This memorial award is available to students enrolled in the Occupational Health and Safety program at NAIT. The award recognizes students who demonstrate commitment to volunteer work and community involvement, with preference given to those whose volunteer activities are safety-related or within the safety community.
Students must submit an application to be considered for this award. The award provides financial support of $1,000 to help students pursuing education in occupational health and safety fields.
