Class of 1950 Civil Engineers' Award

The Class of 1950 Civil Engineers' Award is an annual scholarship awarded to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents with satisfactory academic standing entering the final year of studies in the Faculty of Engineering pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree at the University of Alberta. The award was established through endowed funds by the Civil Engineering Class of 1950 to commemorate their 50th anniversary and in memory of all classmates. Recipients will be selected on the basis of leadership skills and potential as demonstrated through involvement in university, class, or community organizations, sports activities, and/or cultural activities during the student's undergraduate years. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship system.
