Class of 1981 Medical Scholarship

The Class of 1981 Medical Scholarship is a financial aid scholarship established in 2024 by donors who graduated from the Medical School at the University of Queensland in 1981. This scholarship supports current UQ students enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Medicine program who can demonstrate financial hardship and are from a Regional, Rural or Remote Area. The scholarship is part of the Medical Student Financial Aid Scholarships Scheme and aims to break down barriers to education and support the next generation of medical practitioners who may otherwise not have been able to pursue their studies without financial assistance.
