About this opportunity
A bursary valued at up to $1,200 will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Year One of Systems Design Engineering who has demonstrated financial need as determined by the University of Waterloo. This entrance bursary is specifically designed to support students entering their first year of study in the Systems Design Engineering program. To be considered, students must complete the University of Waterloo Entrance Bursary application, which is accessible through the Awards and financial aid tab in the Waterloo application portal. This fund is made possible by donations from the Class of 1990 Systems Design Engineering, reflecting alumni commitment to supporting the next generation of engineering students. Access to the application is limited to Ontario students who will be studying on a full-time basis and who are applying to post-secondary studies for the first time.
