About this opportunity
The Clay/Richland County Scholarship is designed for high-achieving incoming freshmen and incoming transfer students from Clay or Richland counties in Illinois who are majoring in Business or Pre-Business. The scholarship recognizes outstanding academic performance at the high school level or, for transfer students, at the college level.
The scholarship recipient must be an undergraduate student entering Eastern Illinois University for the first time and must have been admitted as a Pre-Business or Business major. Eligible majors include Accountancy, Accounting, Applied Management, Business Administration, Business Undecided, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and various Pre-Business concentrations.
Recipients must be residents of Clay or Richland counties in Illinois, which includes cities such as Calhoun, Claremont, Clay City, Flora, Iola, Louisville, Noble, Olney, Parkersburg, Sailor Springs, and Xenia. The award is announced in the spring and awarded in the fall semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application to Eastern Illinois University.
