About this opportunity
The Clem Hill Memorial Scholarship is awarded to registered teachers and educators who completed their pre-service teacher education at Massey University and are now pursuing postgraduate studies. Named after Professor Clem Hill, the first professor of education at Massey University who was instrumental in establishing the university's education department and later became the first Dean of Education. This scholarship provides financial support to fully registered teachers active in early childhood, primary, or secondary school settings in New Zealand who are continuing their professional development through postgraduate education. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievements and the overall quality of their undergraduate teacher education degree, with consideration given to how the postgraduate qualification will contribute to their career goals in education and commitment to the teaching profession.
