Clinical Excellence Queensland Midwifery Scholarship

The Clinical Excellence Queensland Midwifery Scholarship supports students with demonstrated financial need commencing study in the Bachelor of Midwifery undergraduate program at UniSC. As part of the Queensland Government's recent commitment to drive reform and improvements across the state's public maternity services, Queensland Health provides scholarship funding to assist UniSC Bachelor of Midwifery students. This scholarship is specifically for students experiencing financial hardship and is valued at $10,000, paid in lump sum instalments each semester throughout the normal duration of the program. The payment structure is $1,000 per semester in the first year, $1,500 per semester in the second year, and $2,500 per semester in the third year. Students are expected to maintain full-time enrolment in their program throughout the scholarship period. The scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor, and availability is contingent on funding in any given year.
