About this opportunity
The Clyde McLean Scholarship in Classics and Ancient History was established in 2020 by the estate of Alan Clyde McLean and is funded through the Public Trust. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage and support a student enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Arts conjoint degree, majoring in Classical Studies and Ancient History, who has shown a high level of academic achievement, particularly in the study of Ancient History. This scholarship provides $5,000 in assistance with study for one year and is offered annually to one successful applicant. The scholarship is open to both domestic and international students who are enrolled in Stage III of a BA or BA conjoint degree majoring in Classical Studies and Ancient History at the University of Auckland.
