Coase Scholarship

A generous endowment from the Nobel Prize-winning economist Professor Ronald Coase has enabled the University of Buckingham to offer scholarships supporting UK students from diverse backgrounds wishing to undertake an Economics degree. Coase was inspired by his undergraduate economics education and went on to make a major change to the way we look at the world through his radical analysis of markets and firms. As a long-term friend of the University, his legacy now paves the way for future generations of Economics students from all backgrounds to change the future. The scholarship provides £11,000 in financial support to help students focus on their degree without financial worry. Women, ethnic minorities, and people from lower income backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
