About This Opportunity

The Co'path & Cove Community Fund supports community projects benefiting those living in the Community Council area of Cockburnspath and Cove in the Scottish Borders. The Fund combines six different community benefit funds provided by various renewable energy companies operating wind farms in the area. An annual amount of approximately £115,000, inflation adjusted, is paid into the Fund each year for the operating life of the wind farms. The fund provides grants to support charitable activities that enhance the quality of life for local residents, contribute to vibrant and sustainable communities, promote community spirit, and preserve or enhance culture, heritage, and the environment. Grants may support equipment costs, staff, consultations, running costs, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities, capital projects, and other community initiatives. The Fund particularly welcomes applications that contribute to priorities identified in the Cockburnspath & Cove Community Action Plan.
