About this opportunity
The Colin Gladstone Harrison Family Scholarship provides financial support to final-year primary teaching students at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Valued at $3,000, this scholarship supports students enrolled in either the Bachelor of Education (Primary Education) Honours or Master of Teaching (Primary) who demonstrate an interest in primary curriculum development. The scholarship was established in 2020 and is funded by a gift first made by Miriam Harrison in 2001 in memory of her father Colin Gladstone Harrison. Recipients are selected based on academic merit and a personal statement demonstrating their interest in primary curriculum development. The scholarship is paid as a one-off payment after the applicable census date and may be deferred or suspended for up to 6 months with prior permission.
