About This Opportunity

The Collaborative Teaching & Scholarship Project Grants scheme supports the 'Pathways in Mathematics' strategic goal by promoting the importance of mathematics and providing opportunities for those who wish to study and develop a career in mathematics and its applications. The scheme provides funding for scholarship projects undertaken by colleagues who are building a teaching and scholarship profile within higher education mathematics and its applications. Projects should be collaborative and take place across two or more UK universities, focusing on innovative scholarship in areas related to teaching and learning, curriculum, student experience and student success. Projects should aim to deliver improved teaching quality and/or student learning, enhanced curriculum design/delivery, an enriched student experience, or improved student outcomes. All projects must result in tangible benefits for students that are long-lasting and extend to future cohorts, with outcomes that are readily transferable to other higher education institutions. Projects should be environmentally sustainable and scheduled for delivery in the academic year immediately following the award.
