About this opportunity
The Colleen Keefe Malone Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a returning undergraduate student enrolled in the Business Faculty who is in good academic standing and intends to pursue a career in human resource management. This scholarship was established by the Keefe and Malone families in memory of Colleen Keefe Malone, who was the first female to graduate with a BBA from UPEI in 1971 and went on to have a noteworthy career in human resources, serving as a Director for the PEI Civil Service Commission for many years. The scholarship honors her life and the impact she had on her family, colleagues, and community. Applicants must submit a 500 word essay to the Scholarship and Awards Committee, Registrar's Office stating why they have chosen this field of study. The scholarship is part of a leadership gift commitment made by the Keefe family with Leonard Malone to the University of Prince Edward Island.
