About this opportunity
The College Access Foundation of California Scholarship is designed to support incoming freshmen at Eastern Illinois University with demonstrated financial need. Financial need is the primary consideration for this scholarship, with the goal of providing opportunities for students who may not otherwise be able to attend college. The scholarship is awarded in the spring semester and disbursed over the following academic year, with half paid in the fall semester and half in the spring semester. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate students accepted to Eastern Illinois University. This award may be renewable to previous recipients, but students must reapply each year and continue to meet all eligibility criteria. Applicants are required to submit a short essay focused on their financial need, explaining circumstances that may not be evident from their FAFSA information.
