College JumpStart Love of Learning Scholarship

The $1,000 College JumpStart Love of Learning Scholarship provides students with an opportunity to share their passion for an idea or subject. The scholarship recognizes that college offers opportunities to pursue interests both inside and outside the classroom. Applicants are asked to write a 250-word personal statement about either the idea or subject they are most passionate about and why, or alternatively, any topic of their choice. The scholarship focuses on the content and substance of the personal statement rather than writing style, encouraging students to be concise and thoughtful in their responses. Financial need, grades, and test scores are not considered in the selection process, making this an accessible opportunity for students based solely on the merit of their ideas and interests.
