About this opportunity
The College of Engineering & Applied Science Dean's Merit Scholarship is awarded to select incoming, first-time first-year students who apply to UW-Milwaukee by March 1 and enroll full-time in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS). The scholarship provides $4,000 annually and is renewable for up to four years if the student remains enrolled full-time for consecutive fall/spring terms in an engineering program.
Recipients are chosen by CEAS based on the admission application, and no separate scholarship application is required. Students are automatically considered when they complete their General Application to UWM. This award may be combined with other scholarships and grants offered by UWM, including the Chancellor's Merit Scholarship and the Engineering Excellence Scholarship.
The scholarship is available across multiple engineering disciplines including Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs.
