Colonel Gilbert Edward Sanders Memorial Scholarship

The Colonel Gilbert Edward Sanders Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to students with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of a degree program in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta, majoring in Western Canadian History. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic standing, with preference given to students with indicated financial need. The scholarship was established through endowed funds by Mr. Sandy Pearson to support students pursuing studies in this specific area of Canadian history.
