Colonel James J. Gardon '86 Student Assistance Fund

The Colonel James J. Gardon '86 Student Assistance Fund was established by Master Sergeant Gregory W. Winn in honor of his brother-in-law, Colonel James J. Gardon, a 1986 University at Buffalo School of Nursing graduate. This scholarship supports students majoring in the School of Nursing who demonstrate academic merit. Preference is given to single parents and to students who work at least part-time while attending school to make ends meet. The award amount varies and is designed to provide financial assistance to nursing students balancing academic responsibilities with work and family obligations.
