About this opportunity
The Columbine Memorial Scholarship for students supports engaged students from Jefferson County School District who have made a positive impact in their school and/or larger community. This scholarship was founded by the Rocky Mountain News and Jeffco Schools Foundation using contributions received following the tragic events at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. The scholarship honors the twelve students and one teacher who died that day by supporting students who will carry on their legacy by making a positive and lasting impact in the world. Award amounts may be used toward tuition, fees, books, room and board, and any additional cost of attendance expenses. This is a one-time award that must be used for the upcoming academic year.
