About this opportunity
The Columbus Hilltop Lions Community Service Scholarship Fund provides financial support to students from the Hilltop area of Columbus who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service. This scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who have dedicated significant time to volunteer work in their local community.
Candidates must be graduating seniors from Bishop Ready Catholic High School, Briggs High School, Franklin Heights High School, or West High School, or reside within those school boundaries while attending a charter school or being home schooled. Students must have completed a minimum of 30 hours of volunteer service between their junior year and the application deadline. The volunteer service must be performed in central Ohio and cannot include high school group activities such as Key Club or youth mission trips outside of the region, though such activities may be considered in final selection.
The scholarship provides $2,000 in financial support, payable over two years, to help students pursue their educational goals at any educational institution in the United States. This award aims to recognize and encourage students who have made meaningful contributions to their community through volunteer service.
