About This Opportunity

The Commissioner's Crime Prevention Fund is a new fund launched in partnership between the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), Somerset Community Foundation (SCF), and Quartet Community Foundation (QCF). The fund supports community projects and activities across Avon and Somerset that help to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour. Community groups and charities can apply for grants ranging from £1,000 to £5,000 to help create safer communities. The fund aims to empower local residents who know their neighbourhoods best to develop ideas, initiatives, and projects that prevent crime as outlined in the Police and Crime Plan. A total of £200,000 is available from the fund, with three opportunities to apply across the year. Groups based in Somerset should apply through Somerset Community Foundation, while groups based in BANES, Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire should apply through Quartet Community Foundation.
