About This Opportunity

The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships provide financial support to students from developing Commonwealth countries who wish to pursue online master's degrees while remaining in their home countries. This scholarship program is funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. The scholarship covers tuition fees for eligible students applying to study MSc Gerontology (Distance Learning) or MSc Global Ageing and Policy (Distance Learning) at the University of Southampton. There are 10 scholarships available for the 2025 entry cycle. The program aims to support students who would be unable to afford their studies without this scholarship, with a particular focus on candidates from eligible developing Commonwealth countries who are citizens, British Protected Persons, or refugees living in those countries during their studies.
