About this opportunity
A scholarship provided by the Australian Government to assist Indigenous students with the costs of studying at university. The scholarship provides $6,000 per annum for 48 credit points of study until the minimum points for the degree are completed. Eligibility is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are Australian citizens, enrolled or intending to enrol full-time in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework at Monash University. Selection is based on financial need, with additional consideration given to students from regional or remote areas, those with a disability or medical condition, those who have experienced difficult circumstances, or those from underrepresented schools. Recipients must maintain a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50 each semester and maintain full-time enrolment to retain the scholarship.
