About This Opportunity

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship is jointly funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and Imperial College London, specifically designed for citizens and refugees from eligible Commonwealth countries. This scholarship supports talented individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford to study at a UK university to pursue postgraduate taught programs at Imperial. The scheme aims to contribute to international development by providing individuals with skills and knowledge to facilitate change and prosperity in their home countries. For the 2026/2027 academic year, two awards are available for three specific MSc courses: one for candidates applying to MSc Human and Biological Robotics or MSc Biomedical Engineering (in Bioengineering), and one for MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering (in Chemical Engineering). The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including full tuition fees, a living stipend, airfare, warm clothing allowance, thesis grant, study travel grant, and additional allowances. Recipients must commit to returning to their home country within one month of the end of their scholarship, emphasizing the development focus of this program.
