About This Opportunity
This scholarship is granted to a student who is a graduate of a PEI high school, a graduate of UPEI with high academic standing, and has been accepted into a graduate program in the sciences at a Canadian university. Preference will be given to students who have been accepted into a graduate program at the University of Prince Edward Island. The scholarship was originally established with the Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island. In 2019, the Foundation decided that the university was the best vehicle in terms of adjudicating and awarding this important scholarship. The award provides $1,000 to support graduate studies in the sciences.
